THE PDI ENDOWMENT FUND FOR ACCIDENT VICTIMS IN AFRICA

The PDI Trust Fund for Accident Victims in Africa is private trust fund established by the members and associates of the Board of Trustees of THE STRIVAD FOUNDATION on the occasion of the one year anniversary of a ghastly motor accident which the name giver and patron of the endowment Prince David Uche Iro survived in Nigeria.

The Trust fund is aimed at providing material and financial support to the less privileged accident victims in Nigeria. The sponsors and promoters of this trust fund were shocked and highly saddened to experience first hand during the period of hospitalization of Prince David at different hospitals in Nigeria, how so many less privileged accident victims die on a daily basis as a result of poverty, lack of proper awareness and most of the times too due to inadequate technical know how and equipment on the side of the hospitals.

Apart from assisting less privileged accident victims, it is also aimed at helping the hospitals and other health care service providers source international technical partners

with the view towards providing the lacking necessary equipments for rapid response to accident victims
